Week 4 of having Marvel- our gorgeous little Golden Retriever puppy. He is 11 weeks old now and growing rapidly, along with his character. As I type this he is having what we'd call a 'mad half an hour', which usually involves charging around the house or garden, bumping into things and being all round a bit mad. 

It's amazing how well he has settled in, he treats us and greets us as if he's known us for years. It's always exciting to come down in the mornings and have this beautiful, excited and loving creature greet you with a tail that's wagging faster than he can handle. 

He's growing so quickly and it's sometimes hard to notice when you're with him all the time, but when I think back to how small he was when we brought him home 4 weeks ago, I can suddenly see how much bigger he has gotten.

He went to the vets for the first time 2 weeks ago, and will be going again next Tuesday. He funnily enough seemed to enjoy it, and actually gave the vet a cuddle after she gave him his injection! Mad! 

He is still a little bitey, but he's easing off a tad. Today I have been training him to learn the command 'Lie Down' which he is on his way to mastering! It's a wonderful feeling to know you have imparted wisdom to something that has only been on this earth for 11 weeks! I feel like a proud mummy (of a very hairy child)! As for climbing on to the sofa- well he taught himself that- and now likes to jump off, which can be quite scary as the sofas are fairly tall, but it doesn't seem to faze him!

Needless to say, he is already a true member of our family and is doing fantastically!
