So I recently purchased a beautiful dress from Boutique of Molly. If you haven't heard of them you can check out their website here. They are a fashion line that brings the latest celebrity inspired looks for great prices.

The website is very welcoming and is easy to use - I know this is a weird thing to point out on a review, but often websites can be frustrating to use, and this wasn't, so for me that's always a bonus point!

After perusing what I might like to buy, I decided on a dress. I have Graduation and Grad Ball coming up and so I thought it could either be for that or for a nice evening in summer.

I went for the 'Rosa' Floral Plunge V Neck Bodycon Dress. I thought it was stunning and I rarely go for the colours in this and so thought it'd be great to try. It has a nice plunge v neck, as stated, but it isn't too much which is great because it doesn't feel too revealing, but still feels sexy.

The postage was great and it arrived the very next day. I was a bit skeptical of this because so often online stores promise this and often fail. But, nevertheless, there it was on my doorstep, my pink parcel - I think it's super cute that it was wrapped in pink!



I ordered a size 10. My body can be very difficult as I seem to have big thighs and a sizeable bottom shall we say, and I'm rather slim on the top, so sizing can be tricky. However this dress fitted me like a glove. I don't think I've ever found a dress that fits me THIS well! And it's so comfortable, it clings in all the right places and looks sexy yet classy! The perfect mix.The material is soft and also quite thick, which I really like because it'll give a little extra warmth for those chilly summer evenings. It also means that it isn't see-through!

I've always been a bit of a tom boy. Dresses look nice on me, but I often avoid wearing them and opt for shorts or jeans. However, after finding a dress that suited me so much, I feel more confident that I have a good body for it!

'Rosa' Floral Plunge V Neck Bodycon Dress

Hi guys, there is only 4 more sleeps until Christmas!!!

I shall, as promised be uploading some Christmas recipes, however I do most my Christmas baking on Christmas eve, so I'll be uploading them then most likely!!

Today I wanted to talk to about clothes- so yes, it is indeed another fashion post. I realised that all I tend to wear whilst at Uni is leggings and hoodies and a lot of the clothes in my wardrobe I never wear. So I made myself a pact, and this shall also be a New Years Resolution too, to wear more of my nice clothes. I think a lot of the time I hold back from wearing these clothes because I feel they are 'too nice' or I tell myself it's 'not an important enough occasion'. However if I keep telling myself that, I'll never wear the clothes. So I promised myself to not hold back and to stop waiting around for an occasion to dress nicely, and to just go ahead and wear them.

So far I've managed a week and a bit of dressing nicely each day. By nicely I of course mean wearing my pretty tops, my shirts and not being afraid to wear skirts. And I'm really quite proud of how I've done, and I have to say it's made me feel more confident and pretty.

It may sound like a silly thing to do, but so often in life we buy things and then never get the chance to use or wear them. This is because we are waiting for a chance to be presented to us, when in fact   we need to present ourselves to the possibility of a chance. So this is what I've done.

I've fished out some lovely shirts that I had from Next and matched them simply with a pair of jeans to make them more casual rather than smart. I've worn tights and some of my lovely skater skirts too, which go fantastically with a block colour top. Today I made my denim skater skirt, which I would normally wear in summer, work as a winter outfit, by pairing it with a black polar neck top and black tights, finished with my Chelsea boots.

I already feel so much better for wearing these clothes, because I have a feeling that if I hadn't done, then I may have ended up getting rid of them. Now I have a new found love for all of my clothes, it's as if I've gone shopping in my own wardrobe, everything has a new leash of life!

So why not do the same? Give your clothes another chance to prove to you why you bought them in the first place! Also a little tip, if you buy something they doesn't look right on you, if you are handy with a sewing machine, why not transform it into something else? Maybe something that works much better for you.

Okay, so *deep breath*, today I post my first official fashion post- yaaay! And I have to admit the photos are pretty rubbish. I was planning on taking photos of myself wearing the clothes but it is Sunday( when I'm writing this) and I don't have my tripod and I don't have make up on- hehe naughty. So I tried my best to do otherwise, and took photos of just a few items by hanging them on my wardrobe. Hope they are satisfactory- promise it'll get better.

So I thought today I would show you a few staple items that I have in my wardrobe for this Autumn, here goes:

 Black Velvet Skirt-Primark- This is a great staple to have as it's warmer so perfect for Autumn and Winter. Black goes with everything so this is great for an evening or night out! I actually wore this on Christmas day last year I believe!
 Blue Peplum Dress- Everything 5 Pounds- I am so pleased with this purchase, it fits me perfectly. The colour goes so nicely with my new blonder hair as well. It has a nice lining as well so you feel nice and covered and it isn't too see through. Can't wait to wear this for a lovely Autumn date night, or cocktail party.
 Black Roll Neck Jumper- Primark- I love this so much and got it about a year ago, but it's so cute with jeans. It's pretty thin so you want to wear a vest underneath, but it's great for wearing under a leather jacket too, or embellishing with a bold necklace.
 Checked Shirt- Primark- I can't live without some cool shirts in my wardrobe. I love this one as it's got a denim look, so looks funky with leggings for a relaxed slouch day at home or in uni.
 Patterned Blouse- Everything 5 Pounds- I haven't warn this yet, but it looks so lovely on. The sleeves are super cute and looks great tucked into high wasted jeans and with a smart jacket. The pattern is sort of Autumnal too.
 Gothic Peplum Top- This is so on trend right now and with Halloween coming up this is perfect for a night out. With my new lipstick that I wrote about in a post last week, this would rock!
Maroon Cardigan- Everything 5 Pounds- I love this so much already. The colour is very in this Autumn and it is lovely and thick and because it doesn't button up it feels really casual. it goes with most things and so I love wearing this to uni- keep warm guys!

A Little Bit Of Laura has been running for about a year and 8 months now and has only been growing since then. So to celebrate I am adding a brand new segment to it... FASHION. Now I'm no expert but I do know a thing or two about fashion and design and well, what can I say, I love shopping.

I don't know yet how often I'll blog about fashion. Clothes are expensive and as a student I obviously can't go out and buy clothes willy nilly. BUT I will try my best to involve fashion in the blog whenever I can.

Okay so my second vlog is now here. Primark is a student's heaven so I thought it rather appropriate to vlog about it. Apologies for my poor equipment as I am currently recording on my webcam which isn't ideal. But hey ho we'll see how it goes. I actually filmed this video today, so I wasn't rehearsed or anything which is probably why in the video I am being my usual awkward self. But vlogging is hard, you don't realise it until you try it- you are in a room talking to yourself which is crazy. But here it is and I Hope you will get some enjoyment out of it!
